I began my culinary career at the Samoset Resort in Rockport. I worked my way through the kitchen starting as a dishwasher and ending as the Banquet Chef. I worked for MBNA as the Catering Chef for a number of years and then started my own catering business that I owned and operated for 8 years. I am a student of the industry and have had the good fortune of working with many great chefs from our area. I have a great relationship with area chefs and restaurateurs’ and work very closely with that community to train our students to be prepared to enter the workforce or continue on to culinary school. I grew up in Rockland and have lived here for most of my life so I know the challenges and opportunities that come with growing up in wonderful Mid Coast Maine.
