School to Career

Currently, I am the School-to-Career Coordinator at Camden Hills Regional High School. Camden Hills is my home district and my son graduated from here in 2011.

Previously, I was the School-to-Career Coordinator at Georges Valley High School for MCST for 10 years and moved to Medomak Valley High School in the Fall of 2011. Before that I owned and operated Hope Orchards, a commercial apple orchard for 18 years. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1974.

My belief is that working with teenagers around career and post secondary planning, ethical decision making and work place issues is truly important to our students' future success.

Along with my Maine Cooperative Education Teacher Certification, my credentials include: Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), Certified Educator in Personal Finance (CEPF), Ethical Decision Making (with IGE).
