Lindsay Farmer is the School-to-Career Coordinator serving Oceanside High School in Rockland. Her responsibilities include teaching Career Education and Workplace Readiness Skills as well as working closely with OHS students attending programs at Mid-Coast School of Technology and supervising the work-study program.
Since 2006, Lindsay has been working in Career and Technical Education and joined MCST in the fall of 2018. She is seasoned in small business and the nuances of industry, stemming from years spent employed as a graphic designer as well as being an integral part of her family's shellfish business (Siren Shellfish). A dedicated student advocate, Lindsay was named the Maine SkillsUSA Advisor of the year in 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rivier College and is Certified in Cooperative Education and Graphic Print Communications.
When not in class, Lindsay enjoys time spent with her husband (Paul) and two daughters (Fiona and Sadie). They can often be found on the harbor cruising in the family dory and hauling Lindsay’s recreational lobster traps for ocean treasure.
