I am the Adult Education Health Occupations instructor. I have been a nurse for 41 years. As a 1979 graduate of St Mary’s School of Nursing in Waterbury, Connecticut, I continued my education in nursing at the University of Maine at Augusta, where I am a class away from receiving my master's degree. I bring vast experience to teaching from prior work in physicians' offices, hospitals, home health and hospice, the State of Maine, school nursing, and administration. I have held several different certifications.
My family includes my son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren, as well as my three rescue dogs. I am building a tiny house in Union to be closer to my son and his family. I have been teaching at Mid-Coast School of Technology since September 2019.
