Student Success

September Students of the Month

The faculty at the Mid-Coast School of Technology has recognized two outstanding Students of the Month for September from the Hospitality and Certified Nursing Programs. The award is based on demonstration of the characteristics of solid attendance, positive attitude, and excellent work ethic. Selected for the September Hospitality Program honor is Barbie Louder, a senior from Medomak Valley High School. Instructor Josh Gamage considers Barbie a great asset to the program. Returning for a second year, Barbie “has been very helpful bringing the new students up to speed. Her attendance is greatly improved and her grades reflect her hard work and dedication.” Hillary Foss, a senior from Camden Hills Regional High School, is a student honored by the Certified Nursing Assistant program. Monique Priebe, CNA instructor, reports that Hillary is an enthusiastic and focused student, while being kind, courteous and consistently demonstrates a positive attitude.
